Aboriginal Cultural & Heritage 4WD Day Tour

An exceptional full-day 4WD adventure into Arnhem Land and Northern Kakadu, guided by experienced local experts. This unique tour is 100% Aboriginal owned, operated by the Traditional Owners of the clan estates you’ll visit.

Your journey begins with a crossing of Cahill’s Crossing on the East Alligator River into Arnhem Land. At Injalak Arts & Crafts Centre in Oenpelli, you’ll meet Aboriginal artists, watch painting demonstrations, see women weaving pandanus baskets, and have the opportunity to purchase authentic artworks.

Travelling in customised 4WD vehicles with forward-facing seats, you’ll explore some of the region’s most breathtaking landscapes — including sandstone escarpments, ancient rock art sites, forests, floodplains, and bird-filled billabongs.
